Somalier extracts a small binary sketch of genotype-like information at a fixed set of common polymorphic sites directly from BAM/CRAM/VCF/BCF/GVCF and uses those sketches to evaluate relatedness, sample swaps, sex, ancestry, contamination and general QC across hundreds to thousands of samples in seconds.
