Pyteomics is a collection of lightweight Python tools for proteomics data analysis: physico-chemical properties of polypeptides (mass and isotopic distribution, charge and pI, chromatographic retention time), access to MS/LC-MS data, FASTA databases and search-engine output, and manipulation of modified peptide/protein sequences.
